Winter peach

Winter peach

If, like me, you tend to go for muted dark colors in winter time, maybe it’s time to brighten it up a bit. How about throwing a bit of peachy goodness into the mix today?

I recently came accross the Isabell Werth collection and they have the loveliest selection of basic, yet beautiful functional sweaters in bright and fresh colors like this peach one. It looks great with the Ariat Ideal down vest in ‘clothespin’ and a large chunky Centoxduecento scarf matching the rest of the look.

This look was also the perfect opportunity for me to add in another recent discovery: the Pro Riding Gear Project No.1 full seat riding tights in the color Army. This pair is not your  ordinary run of the mill pair of riding tights, these beauties are highly technical, luxurious, offer excellent grip, breathability and immaculate fit (more on this must have item coming very soon!)

When riding, stay stylish with a pair of lace-up Kempkens dressage boots in this beautiful shade of dark brown and match them to your KEP Italia helmet and Roeckl grip gloves. And, groom your horse in style with the elegant and equestrian must-have PS of Sweden premium grooming bag.

Keep warm in between rides with the Mountain Horse Lauren down coat and peach Rossignol beanie and protect your eyes from that low but bright winter sun with a pair of Ray-Ban shades mathing your look for today.

Have a stylish ride!

Hot chocolate

Hot chocolate

My favortie after winter ride warm-up go to drink is most certainly a large mug of hot chocolate, preferably with a marshmellow or two floating on top. While dreaming of this scrumptions beverage I came accross a few hot chocloate equestrian statement pieces and decided to work them into today’s #rootd.

Let’s start with the Uvex Suxxeed luxury helmet: gorgeous chocolate brown and safe: perfection. I am also a huge fan of Roeckl glvoes and love the chcolate brown Julia winter gloves. To my pleasure i found a perfectly fitting down Lara vest by Horze  and the Alberto Fasciani field boots with a touch of caramel on top are the absolute best companions for this hot chocolate look.

In order to not get a chocolate overdose, I added a pair of classic Cavallo Caro dark denim full seat jeans breeches, a subtle Miasuki Dulcie cashmere silk blend sweater and a Joules Gosfield padded coat in the most glorious hue of pumpkin which matches the Ariat Wexford H2O chelsea boots and the practical and fabulous Tau Stil crossbody canvas tote bag (to bring your keys and phone on that after ride dog walk in the woods). For a final touch of style add on an Adi Kissilevich ‘Silk in Love’ scarf.

Have a stylish winter ride and enjoy your hot chocolate!
