A bit of Blue and Blush (B&B) to get you through a cold and harsh winter’s day. And, as a bonus, I’ve added another “B” in the mix: a classy shade of brown to pull together the whole look.

I’m a huge fan of tailored shirts for riding, especially in spring and autumn, but for wintertime, why not layer one of those beautiful shirts by Fior da Liso, like this baby blue and blush Diana II one underneath a blush pink LK Bennet Adele cashmere sweater.

Wear it all with a pair of timeless chocolate brown Macy breeches by BR Equestrian and top it off with a beautiful shiny navy blue Bianca jacket by HV Polo.

This is to perfect look with which to rock a pair of metallic blue boots, like these Ottaviano boots by De Niro Boot Co, especially when paired with a sleek Samshield blue helmet and brown Roeckl Julis gloves. Then, add on a matching Pampeano polo belt for function and style during your ride.

After your ride, swap your helmet for an H&M blush pink pompom beanie and your beautiful boots for a pair of functional and funky baby blue Hunter wellies.

Xmas is only a week away and I’ve really been enjoying listening to the annual selection of holiday songs while finding you the best winter outfit inspo. It’s also been horrendously cold over here the past few weeks, so the Xmas blockbuster ‘Baby it’s cold outside’ seemed like the perfect theme for a look today.

Red velvet layer cake

Any good red velvet cake is made up out of scrumptious layers of red forest fruit, soft sponge cake and a sprinkling of dark chocolate. Same goes for this Red velvet layer cake #rootd.

The Tredstep 3rd symphony knee patch breeches in a soft beige shade are is the base layer of your red velvet look. Add on a casual Mountain Khakis Women’s Penny Plaid Shirt, with over that a Rock springs vest by Athleta and add on the last layer for a splash of fresh fruity color with a lightweight J.O.T.T.
