Don’t let your warm and comforting Cappuccino go cold! Keep warm in this coffee inspired #rootd.

The Carven zip neck striped sweater is what a great cappuccino is all about: the best balance of coffee, milk, heat and style. Bubblegum

Get in touch with your girlie bubblegum side with this pink and grey #rootd. Whether riding your favourite horse in icy cold weather, popping over to the shops with the ladies or lounging watching your friends training with a hot cup of coco, this look works for all of it!

The late grey Superdry Marl toggle puffer vest has just enough pop of pink to make it sophisticated, fun and girlie all at the same time. Layer a light weight Save the Duck down jacket underneath for another pop of pink and an extra layer of warmth and wear it all over a cream colored Lands’ End drifter cable knit sweater.

The Pikeur Candela II Jeans breeches are a great companion for this look and help it transition from street to stable, as they can easily be worn in stead of a pair of your favourite skinny jeans.

Balance out the girlie bubblegum with a bit of rock chick with these black buckle polo boots by Donadeo Collezioni Italia, black Samshield Hunter gloves and a Chanel Graffiti backpack.

Are you ready for the holidays? I am!! Especially with a look that works for sipping eggnog with friends at the christmas market as well as going for a winter ride. All it takes is some super stylish items, a funky christmas themed sweater and some hints of seasonal red cheer.

Wear your Joseph silk red polo under a funky Hollister Xmas Fox sweater and pair it with a pair of sleek classic black ANKY technical casuals Elegance breeches. Layer on the Asmar Equestrian city jacket for both street and stable and keep warm with a Burberry scarf and GAP cable knit double pompom beanie.

Add on another touch of seasonal red with a Michael Kors belt and finish off your Holiday look with a pair of Tucci Harley field boots, a pair of LAG leather gloves and the super chic KASK Dogma light helmet.

Have yourself some wonderful holidays and a very stylish ride!

Layers ‘n lime

If, like me, you’re a lover of layers, lime and working on the go, then this is the look for you! Layers are the best way to stay warm in between rides and great to be able to shed a few when you’re working with your four legged friend. And for me an accessory that ensures you can work from wherever, even the barn, is a must have!

One of my favourites is the grey Crescendo jeans breech from Horze, which is a great first layer for this look. Wear a royal blue Cityshop turtle neck sweater as a base layer on top and then start adding a grey super comfy Rally NSW Nike hoodie, a light weight Duvetica lime green and grey detailed down vest and finish it off with a super stylish Stella McCartney Mietta padded down parka.

A bit of royal blue comes back in the Roeckl grip gloves and a touch of lime is added by the Michael Kors peak hat and for the working girls on the go, a lime colored Lug Slingshot Ipad/Tablet Pouch.

Black rider accessories go perfectly with this layered lime look: a Hermes classic belt, a Samshield shadow mat helmet and a pair of Alex Carbon Königs boots.

A touch of tangerine

The best thing about this time of the year (apart from of course the holiday cheer) is the fact that colourful winter fashion helps us brighten up the darker days. Additionally, one of my favourite healthy juicy fruits is in season now, Tangerines!! So, therefore it was high time for a touch of tangerine in a stylish winter #rootd.

This Kru Moritz technical winter jacket is officially for skiing, but works just fine as an all-round winter riding jacket. Wear a light weight black J.O.T.T. Seda vest underneath your jacket and combine it with a Joseph classic tangerine colored sweater.

The BR Madelyn breeches are an excellent addition to the look with their stylish grey details (read more about them here). Continue the grey accents in a pair of Roeckl gloves, a Elie Saab leather belt, Manhattan Accessories co faux suede baseball cap and a Hannah  Cashmere scarf from Care by me.

Finish the look with a pair of Donadeo Collezzioni custom made grey accented polo boots and a classic Kep Italia Cromo M black helmet.

Passage in plaid

Practicing your Piaffe and Passage? Better do it in style with this plaid scarf inspired #rootd. The classic colors we are all familiar with are deconstructed to create a contemporary on trend, functional rider look.

The grey Horze Supreme Grand Prix breeches lay the base for this look, on which we added on a beautiful Chloe dark maroon shirt, a The North Face lightweight vest and finished off with a rider must have: the Asmar Equestrian All Weather Rider jacket.

All the accessories tie into the classic plaid color scheme: a pair of Prinzenhaus grey boot socks match the SSG steel grey gloves and make sure to swap your KASK Dogma helmet for a Rag & Bone velvet baseball cap after your ride.

Add a bit of bling with the Micheal Kors phone case and keep it classy with a pair of Alberto Fasciani Dressage boots (read the review here).

Complete the look with a warm and cosy plaid blanket shawl from Rosegal.

The embroidered floral bomber is an unmissable statement piece this winter, and this affordable Velvet one from Topshop brings some floral edge to this casual weekend street to table #rootd. Highlight the floral pinks with a Joules padded gilet, a Rebecca Minkoff fur pom pom bag charm and a sporty Dolce & Gabbana belt.

This outfit is super for shopping to stable weekends with the classy black BR Equestrian Sequoia breeches that look great in stead of a pair of skinny jeans. Wear it with an Ariat Lowell 1/4 zip top and swap your dark green dr Martens shopping shoes for a pair of Alberto Fasciani jumping boots once you arrive at the stables.

Keep your phone safe and close in the Michael Kors phone bag and pull the whole look together with a matching customized KEP Italia dark green accented helmet.

Put on a pair of classy black Roeckl gloves and you’re ready for your ride!

Two of my favorite colors together in one wintery wonderful #rootd. The cool classy crisp light watery blue shade goes perfectly well with the warm rich wine hue, all supported by some strong steely grey accents.

The Columbia Glam-her down jacket is not only perfect for outdoor sports, practical and warm, but also absolutely gorgeous! Wear it with a Ralph Lauren classic cable knit V neck sweater in this stunning ice cold water color and layer a white Barbour Goldfinch polo underneath. Add on your shade of steel grey with these Horse Pilot breeches (did you see the matching light blue accent in them? Gotta love it!)

No outfit is complete without a matching KEP Italia Cromo T helmet, a pair of grey Roeckl gloves, Michael Kors aviator shades and a Herschel hat for before and after your winter ride.

Finish it off with my all time favourite winter boots: the Ariat Bromont H2O waterproof, snowproof, cold proof… best winter boots ever.

vibrant-winter-vibesDays are getting shorter, it’s cold and most of the time its just grey and gloomy… so, let’s fight the gloom with some vibrant winter vibes. It’s all about colourful layers to keep you in a cheerful mood and looking great for your ride.

Wear your Ralph Lauren plaid bright cotton plaid shirt under a bright pink LL Bean zip front knitted sweater and add on an emerald green J Crew Petite excursion quilted vest for an extra layer of warmth. Pair it all with Pikeur Lugana full seat navy breeches, a matching navy blue One K Defender helmet and a pair of Roeckl grip gloves.

Bright colors go great with warm brown leather goods like the C.S Simko belt and a pair of Königs polo lace up boots.

Bring your phone in your hot pink Kate Spade cross body phone bag and pop on your emerald green YMC hat before and after your ride.

Brunch to barn

Holiday season is near, which entails many brunches and family time, but how do you combine it all with your daily dose of barn life? If you’re lucky to live somewhere where the winter weather is not too harsh, then this look will take you straight from brunch to the barn. Just swap out your heals for boots and you’re ready to hop on your horse.

The Le Fash NY Bowery with Navy city breech is the ultimate street to stable must have piece: the sleek design makes it wearable for any occasion, but is also technical enough to guarantee you a perfect ride. Wear it with a crisp white ‘husband’shirt by Misha Noonoo.
