Only gold is good enough for today’s #rootd. Thankfully this season brings us some beautiful gold and gold trimmed items to combine into a classy top-class riding outfit.
The new Spring collection from ANKY Technical Casuals has a few must-have items in it, of which this lightweight jacket in this golden sandy shade is defenitely one of them. Wear it over a crisp white HV Polo Favouritas polo shirt with gold and navy details and under a matching ANKY Technical casuals navy blue and gold trim vest.
BR Equestrian now also has a pair of super stylish denim breeches in their collection: the Macy with its golden zipper details, which fits perfectly with this outfit.
Keep your rider accessories classy and cute in this gorgeous shade of chocolate brown with croco details: the KEP Italia helmet and Petrie boots are absolutely excellent companions for a BR Equestrian brown belt, a pair of Roeckl Julia gloves (with gold trim!) and a French Connection Alana croc embossed backpack. Turn this look into a real springtime street-to-stable head turner by trading your boots for a pair of golden TOMS.
Then, if you really want to up your matchy matchy game, add on this gorgeous classic blue saddle pad from Dapple Equestrian with chocolate brown and gold details and you’re ready to steal the show in the arena.

Travelling is always one of the best sources of inspiration for any kind of outfit. Today, I’m sharing a bit of love for the Highlands with you as we are currently traveling through stunning and fascinating Scotland.
Tartan is part of the deeprooted Scottish heritage and history and makes for a wonderful accent to a stylish and classic equestrian outfit. Barbour makes some wonderful wool blend tartan scarves like this green, beige and blue one. Add the scarf to a classic and timeless Ralph Lauren creamy beige cashmere turtleneck sweater, a pair of brown Horka Atlanta II ladies breeches and navy blue Miasuki Maya zip sweater vest.
Pick up some hints of the heavenly highland green with a pair of custom suede Petrie dressage boots, highstreet faux suede belt and a matching PS of Sweden grooming bag (in Capulet green).
Complete the look with a pair of navy blue Roeckl gloves and matching KEP Italia helmet.
Right, that’s it from me for today, back to enjoying my Scottish Highland adventure!

Slowly but surely the spring styles are trickling into the online shops: lovely colors, lightweight layers, and super new styles… but… it’s still frosty where I am, so we’re still in full-on winter mode here at stylish equestrian HQ. Take the opportunity to stock up on some winter basics in Burgundy and Blue during the sales right now, as not only are they this seasons hottest ticket, but they will be back again next winter season too!
A no miss street-to-stable item is this comfy casual Kingsland Chisasib rider leggings, perfectly paired with a retro style Stella Jean color block polo sweater. Add a blue J. Crew mountain puffer vest for your ride and bundle up with a Burgundy colored Dubarry Barrington waterproof hooded jacket.
If I ever win the lottery, the first thing I will splurge on is a pair of Burgundy colored lace-up boots like this Primus Pro pair by Cavallo and find a super cute bag to match like this crossbody bag by Sienna Jones. Then, keep your boots clean and gorgeous by changing into a pair of Timberland teddy fleece lined fold-down boots around the stables.
Finish your look with some basic blue equestrian must-haves like the KEP Italia Cromo smart helmet and a pair of SSG gloves.

First real lasting snow is predicted for this week, and I thought I’d get ready for that snowflake feeling with a wintery street to stable outfit.
I love looking at technical outdoor sports brands other than the equestrian ones for inspiration, as those brands usually work just as well for riding. Especially ski-wear is well suited as it’s designed for outdoor activity, flexibility and style.
A brand that I’ve liked for a very long time thanks to it’s innovative retro Swiss style and quality technical items is Alprausch. Today I’ve chosen to add the Alprausch Helga down jacket into the mix thanks to it’s super cute retro snowflake print.
Wear it with a Miasuki Cashmere silk blend crisp white turtleneck sweater, a pair of perfect street to stable Imperial Riding full seat denim breeches and a Kudamono vintage leather belt.
For you ride, match your Hauke Schmidt Arabella gloves to your Königs Melbourne boots and ride in style with the Back on Track EQ3 blue helmet (read a review on this great helmet here).
When heading out to meet friends for a coffee afterwards, change your boot for a pair of Ariat Wexdord H2O short boots and your helmet for a J Crew pom pom beanie.
Enjoy the snow and have a stylish ride!
A little love story for you today: just sharing my passion for everything burgundy this season (or any season for that matter actually… I think it’s becoming a serious long-lasting relationship). If you’re a lover of Burgundy too, then this look is definitively for YOU!
I recently spotted these Burgundy Animo Naspre breeches in my local tack shop and just had to incorporate them into a look one way or another. For me, beige is always a great companion for Burgundy, so I paired them with a 3.1 Phillip Lim turtleneck sweater.
For warmth, added texture and above all style, I added the Alpaca button up jacket by Equirex in this exquisite dark hue of burgundy (almost aubergine) and then combined it with a matching LC Lauren Conrad plaid blanket scarf.
Continue the Burgundy theme with a stunning exclusive Miasuki Ribbon helmet and a pair of black Kempkens jumping boots (with… of course…. a burgundy detail).
Finish off the look with a classy black Gucci logo buckle belt, a pair of must-have black Roeckl Julia winter gloves and a Rebecca Minkoff cross body bag to bring along your keys and phone to the barn, while declaring your love for Burgundy once and for all.

Guns ‘n Roses had it right: ‘Nothing last forever, even cold November rain’, so, you can either wait it out and hide in bed with a Netflix marathon, or you can brave the dreary cold drizzle and head to the barn in a super cute raspberry rain #rootd.
I came across this Joules “go lightly” packaway waterproof jacket in dark pink posy with the cutest floral print and new that this would come in handy for a look to help you cheer up just one of those grey November days. As it is quite a thin jacket, it is a great companion for a super snuggly chunky cable knit sweater like this Raspberry one by Loro Piana. Wear it with a pair of stunning moss green Cavallo Cleo breeches and keep your rider accessories classic and stylish in chocolate brown, for example with a Samshield Miss Shield helmet, a pair of Roeckl gloves, Petrie custom croco boots and Tom Ford belt.
OK, you got yourself to the barn, now, you might a well pop to the shops while your out wearing a pair of Raspberry Meilani Lonely Harts UGG boots and a matching GAP Merino wool beanie. Bring all your keys in this moss green Moschino key holder and everything else you need for the day in the stunning Fairfax and Favor Windsor handbag.
Have a great weekend and a stylish ride!
With all those muted shades of beige, burgundy and blue out there this wintertime, why not shake things up a bit and rock this Red hot HKM performance jacket for your ride today.
Wear it with this super cute silver Soccx vest, a sleek black Kingsland Paradiso printed pullover, pair it with the Pikeur Lucinda softshell breeches (probably one of the best breeches in the business…) and stay warm when riding with the unmistakable Ariat H2O Bromont Pro tall insulated thermal boots (read a review on these beauties here).
Did you know Pikeur did helmets too? You can now not only ride in style in your favorite brand but also safe when wearing this Pro Safe Classic Brilliant black Pikeur helmet. Get yourself a pair of black and red Roeckl Mission gloves and a Euro Star woven belt to match the look.
Why not accessorize your saddle to match your rockin’ red look today with a pair of Jin Stirrup red stirrups (they have so many other cute colors available it’s hard to choose!).
This look was brought to you in collaboration with Reitsport.ch, my favorite Swiss online retailer.

One my favorite shades this season, or well, any season really is this wonderful dark and sweet marmalade orange. I was therefore completely over the moon when BR Equestrian sent me one of their winter base layers (Titania) to try in this beautiful shade. I love it so much that I decided to offer you some outfit inspo around this marmalade colored statement item.
I paired it today with some classic beige Ariat Olympia full seat breeches, which I own and love as well and layered on a grey Uniqlo Ultra light down vest as well as a chocolate brown Snow Secret packable down jacket and brown Charles Owen retro GR8 helmet.
Who doesn’t love a pair of matching boots socks? I sure am a fan, so I added in a pair of BR Equestrian argyle boots socks into the mix worn underneath my personal favorite boots: the classic Alberto Fasciani logo dressage boot in antique brown (read all about these beauties here).
A few more super accessories finish off this look in style: a Bindya winter bandana scarf to match the whole look, a pair of light-colored Roeckl grip gloves, a Sijll Button Bill wool hat and a pair of New Balance sneakers to slip into after your ride.
