Orange & Olive

oo

… Orange and Olive … a marvellous combination of colors creating a stunningly strong winter #rootd. I always love adding a pop of color to any outfit and this luscious orange shade really adds a lot of zing.

I started of with the Schockemoehle Libra breeches, just because I adore this shade of olive so much and wanted to do another #rootd with it. Then I came across this bright and vibrant orange Marmot Jena vest and thought it was a perfect match with the breeches. Nothing beats a simple classic black turtle neck sweater by Emporio Armani, and to my pleasant surprise I found a lightweight jacket from NewChic tying the whole look together.

I added on some classic black rider accessories like the C.S.Simko belt (as seen on Madonna during the Women’s March in January), a pair of Celeris bespoke black riding boots with matching boot (spur) protectors, a pair of BR equestrian All weather pro gloves and the KASK Dogma light helmet.

To brighten the whole thing up a little, I added an orange Hermes after-ride-helmet-hair-solution baseball cap and a vintage Fendi 2jours large shopper for all your equestrian essentials.

Orange is the new black

ointnb

Orange, in any shade, is the new black of this autumn / winter season.

Especially when combined with a classy pair of black BR Madelyn breeches (check out a review on these beauties here), a black Antares Shagreen glossy leather look helmet and a black Montar Isabelle zip sweater.

This magnificent ELT Erica burnt orange jacket goes perfectly with a white Lacoste polo shirt and some carefully selected accessories in various shades of brown/orange. The Horses belt from Pumps en Paarden is one of my absolute personal favourites as well as the Roeckl leather winter gloves.

Finish off your OITNB look with a pair of stunning Sergio Grasso Treviso dressage riding boots.

It takes a brave and bold equestrian to incorporate a bright splash of orange into a #rootd. We’ve just made it a little bit easier for you with this fresh and sophisticated Autumn look.

The Joseph V neck lightweight sweater is a gorgeous vibrant saved of orange and is paired perfectly with a dark nay blue merino wool polo from Equirex, a Dada Sport lightweight grey jacket and a pair of stormy grey full seat breeches by BR Equestrian.

The accessories all compliment the choice of color with a brown buffalo leather Oughton Limited fence buckle belt, a Mountain Horse cap for after your ride, a pair of (my favorite) Roeckl brown chester gloves, a Samshield navy blue helmet and a pair of König Grandgester classic dressage boots.

Add another little splash of color with an Armani Jeans scarf and you Orange inspired look is ready for the ride!
