City sleek

City Sleek

This super chic Gina Tricot Equestrian embroidered jacket has popped up in many of my equestrian newsfeeds and I am absolutely in love it! Why not wear an extremely cute sophisticated and sleep lightweight jacket to the barn? It’s practical, washable and looks great to wear to the city too!

Wear it with a pair of cream colored Ariat FZ breeches and a crisp white Ralph Lauren polo and you’re ready to handle a business meeting or a ride n the woods. When hitting the city wear a pair of nude pumps by Gianvitto Rossi and exchange them for  pair of dark blue Cavallo Fortis Ostrich detail boots for your ride.

Accessorise your look with a pair of SSG navy blue gloves, a Ralph Lauren woven belt, a La Martina Portena bad and the custom made KEP Italia helmet.

Have a stylish ride!

Paddock princess

Paddock princess

Feel like a princess while in town or around the barn with this perfect paddock princess #rootd. Nothing says street chique like a pretty pink HV Polo Society Sonia wrap cardigan, and it’s great to wear as a wrap to the barn over a crisp light blue Dubarry of Ireland Carnation blouse and  pair of Equi-Theme Verona breeches in blue.

The look works for the town with the gorgeous Ariat Heritage IV brown lace up paddock boots (go to the 30K give-away instagram post to win these beauties) and add on a pair of Ariat Close Contour show chaps for a stylish ride.

Chocolate brown accessories are great for this look: how about the Samshield Shadowmat helmet, a pair of Roeckl grip gloves and a Wrangler leather belt.

A few more shades of blue and soft pink and your look is complete. I love the equestrian style light blue Ralph Lauren Mini Caley Saddle bag and it will easily hold your pink swirl candy marble Casetify phone case and a pair of pink Kenneth Cole aviator sunglasses.

Have a stylish ride!

Heritage style

Heritage style

Whether on you way to the barn or heading out to support your friends at their first outdoor competition, you know that a spring shower or two might be in the cards. This lovely unpredictable spring weather calls for a good trenchcoat, and what better one than the The Kensington short Heritage trench by Burberry.

Wear it with a set of classic heritage style items like the Ariat Olympia FZ cream breaches and the cutest mini pony print mandarin collar shirt by Espoir Equestrian. Layer on a white Ralph Lauren vest for warmth and stye.

I love how KEP Italia offers the possibility to customise your helmet to exactly the way you want it and I went for a mix of soft blue and leather to fit with this heritage look perfectly. Of course a pair of Roeckl gloves are a no miss and I finished off the look with some burnt orange accessories like the Gucci ‘blind for love’ pouch, a Yoins braided slim belt and a pair of stunning suede Stivalleria Secchiari custom boots.

Have a stylish ride!

Floral Friday

Floral friday

Yay! It’s Friday, floral Friday to be more specific. What better way to ring in the weekend than with this funky floral #rootd.

The Cavallo Coleen full seat grip breeches caught my eye immediately when browsing the new spring collections and I absolutely adore them for their understated floral fabulousness. Wear them with the preppy and sophisticated Dada sport Pirate sweater and a sleek moss green vest by Herno.

Accessorise your look with some classic brown rider essentials like the Charles Owen GR8 retro style helmet, a pair of Roeckl grip gloves, a Lanvin Noeud Metallic Leather Bow Belt and a pair Petrie Athene polo boots.

Bring all your equestrian gear with your to the barn in your Herschel supply co grey backpack and don’t forget to match your sunglasses and phone case tryout look today with a Native Union case and a pair of Victoria Beckham Aviators.

Have a stylish ride and a great weekend!

Minty fresh

minty fresh

The person that invented the 2 in 1 layered tops deserves a medal. I love them because of the layered look without the bulk of having putting multiple items on top of each other. This Miss Selfridge sweater with lace details in a minty fresh color is a great spring time addition to any #rootd. Wear it with an extremely stylish Rebecca Minkoff Blair cotton-jersey vest and a pair of sleek black Anky Technical Casuals Elegance breeches in black.

Add a stylish and soft Cozylab cashmere mint and grey scarf, a soft mint Orciani belt and bring all your essentials to the barn in this functional and fabulous Eastpack backpack.

Finish off this look with a pair Roeckl summer gloves, a KASK Dogma helmet and  appear of sporty Alberto Fasciani show jumping boots (read the review here!)

Just peachy

just-peachy

Well isn’t that just peachy 🙂

One of my all time favourite color combination of silvery grey and peach come together to create a picture perfect peach #rootd to keep you looking your stylish best at the barn.

Wear your Euro-Star Alice grip tech grey breeches with a crisp white Ralph Lauren Polo. Layer on this sweet peach nodded zip sweater by HV Polo and add on an extra layer with this Schott NYC silver grey bomber jacket for warmth and style.

A matching grey KEP Italia Cromo T helmet is a must have for this look, as well as a pair of grey Parlanti polo boots and a pair of Samshield grey gloves. Add on a few more touches of peach for style with the Bottega Veneta belt and a scarf by one of my favorite Scandinavian accessories brands Becksondergaard.

Have a stylish spring ride!

Cappuccino

frappuncino

Don’t let your warm and comforting Cappuccino go cold! Keep warm in this coffee inspired #rootd.

The Carven zip neck striped sweater is what a great cappuccino is all about: the best balance of coffee, milk, heat and style. Wear it with a pair of Amy full seat breeches by Mountain Horse and keep warm with one of the most inventive new riding jackets out there: the Uhip long winter coat. Developed in icey cold Scandinavia, this is a light weight, knee long coat in a sporty look and with the perfect balance between warmth and weight. Give this one a go in the harshest of weather conditions!

Accessorise with strong coffee colored rider accessories: The Horka Linsey lace up boot (stylish and affordable!), a pair of Roeckl gloves, a vintage Hermes logo buckle belt and the gorgeous KASK brown Star lady helmet.

Top off your look with a layer of creamy items like the Pikeur beanie and neck warmer and a vintage Ralph Lauren tote bag.

Enjoy your cappuccino and have a stylish ride!

Vitamin C

vitamin-c

Anybody else having a case of the winter sniffles? I sure am, this persistent cold is keeping me close to the box of tissues at all times. What I need is a big does of Vitamin C! Not only in the form of the actual thing, but also in a #rootd to boost my energy levels and fight this winter cold.

I found this super cute Ted Baker citrus bloom sweater and though it was the perfect way to get some citrussy vitamin C into the look for today. Wear it with a vibrant green Hollister lightweight puffer down vest and a pair of Pikeur Candela jeans full seat breeches for that casual weekend look.

The lightweight All weather rider by Asmar Equestrian is such a perfect shade of lemony yellow, it just had to be part of this bright energising #rootd. Want to know more about the All weather rider? Read my review here.

Keeping it classy, I’ve added some soft brown rider accessories to the look: the beautiful lace-up Petrie Superior classic boots, combined with a pair of Roeckl Wago winter gloves and a croco detail Samshield suede look helmet.

Add on a few more bright accents to your energy boost look with a Dsquared2 textured belt and the lemon keychain from Kate Spade.

Keep warm, stay healthy, get a boost of vitamin C and have a stylish ride!

Loading 2017 in style

loading-2017

For me it always takes a week or two to get back into the swing of things after the holidays. This phone case by Casetify not only expresses my current state of mind perfectly but is also a perfect fit with this soft pastel #rootd.

The Michael Kors Chevron down jacket is the most magnificent shade of powdery dark blue and goes perfectly with the soft blush pink Uniqlo down vest and a dreamy creamy Ralph Lauren cable knit sweater.

The pastel look is complemented by a pair of brown Pikeur Lucinda full seat breeches and a pair of Roeckl grip gloves. The Spiced Equestrian Bianca belt matches the De Niro dressage boots perfectly and the whole look is completed with some more shades of pink and blue: You can’t go wrong with this classic Charles Owen AYR8 blue leather look helmet, a faux fur fluffy soft Banana Republic scarf and a pair of highstreet aviator shades.

So, take your time to load 2017 in style, and look great while doing so with this soft pastel #rootd.

Have a stylish ride!

Breaking the ice

breaking-the-ice

Beautiful icy blues, with cool grey and strong black: the best way to break the ice! The star of the #rootd is the icy blue quilted jacket from Max Mara Weekend, which is enhanced by a cool grey Falke ergonomic sport system shell vest.

I love how, thanks to the the grey details, the BR Madelyn breeches look like they were made for this look. You can read more about these highly technical breeches right here. As a base layer, I’ve added a black Ariat Lowell 3/4 zip top and have continued the cool grey theme throughout the accessories with a sporty Nike belt and pair of Uvex sport style gloves. The icy blues come back in an Eugenia Kim Marley beanie and Loro Piana cashmere scarf.

The best addition to any icy winter look are a classy KASK Dogma Chrome light helmet and the winter rider’s best friend: a pair of Ariat Bromont pro tall H2O Insulated boots. Read all about these brilliant boots here.
