Boyfriend material

Who doesn’t love a good flannel boyfriend shirt from time to time? It’s the perfect partner to layer into a winter riding outfit, especially if it combines some of this seasons hottest colors in an unusual yet stunning way.

I came accross this marroon and orange Campus Emporium flanel plaid boyfirend shirt and it immediately inspired me to do this casual street to stable outdoorsy #rootd. Especially because it goes so well when worn with a cheecky rolled up sleeve over the BR Equestrian equipment burnt orange Titiana roll neck base layer and it also works amazingly well with a pair of maroon Cavallo Cera grip breeches.

The grey full seat detail in the breeches provides the perefct theme fro the rest of the look with an ANKY Technical Casuals lightweight silver grey down jacket, a pair of Uvex Sport style glamour gloves, a One K Defender grey helmet and a matching Shop Hunt Club ‘Flying Cange’ derby belt.

Finish off the look with a maroon knitted scarf by Pieces and a pair of grey multipurpose snuggly warm boots: the Coniston H2O waterproof and insulated outdoor boots by Ariat. Your best partner for winter walks, muddy paddocks and hacks in the countryside.

Timeless style

timeless-styleI’ve been admiring the way the brand Ronner design produces timeless, classy, contemporary equestrian style pieces consistently, and I am honoured to be able to meet them later on today at the SPOGA trade fair in Cologne.

Their Eloisa shirt deserved to be surrounded by some classic equestrians style with a pair of navy blue Pikeur Lugana breeches, a United by Blue Martel wool vest and a soft green cotton Ruby military style jacket by Velvet.

In keeping with the classic and timeless colorscheme, I’ve added only navy, green or cognac colored accessories. The Celeris Bia lace-up boots are a great ‘cognac’ addition to any outfit, as well as a pair of Roeckl winter gloves and a matching H&M belt. Keep warm with a navy blue White + Warren travel cashmere scarf and protect your eyes from the winter sun with a pair of Illesteva Leonardo sunglasses.

Add just a little touch of bling with the customisable navy blue KASK ‘on the rocks’ Swarovski encrusted Star Lady helmet and bring all your essential to the barn in your James River Fox Hunting carry all by Tucker Tweed.

Wonderfully woodsy

botanical-beauty

A wonderful warm woodsy look for those cold winter rides.

The look is inspired by the J Crew ‘Botanical’ sweater with floral patches and woodsy scenery, and the sweater easily found some great companions in a pair of Euro Star full seat Miley power grip tea breeches in Ebony, a Herno moss green puffer vest and a Cavallo Hally jacket.

I love the way the Kempkens custom made suede riding boots complement the woodsy theme and who could go riding without an exceptionally stylish Ebony colored KEP Italia helmet or the matching Roeckl grip gloves.

Final touches to the woodsy #rootd are a pair of moss green and gold Aviators from Ray-Ban, a warm brown logo leather logo belt from Tom Ford and a Steve Madden classic plaid care matching the wonderful woodsy color scheme.

Forest style

forest-style

Burberry has this forest fabulous style down to a T. I’m obsessed with this gorgeous Runway landscape jacquard sweater with forest print and of course the matching equestrian inspired bridle riveted leather saddle bag.

Wear your forest fabulous style with a Conquest Carly moto lightweight down jacket by Sorel and a pair of Euro Star Carina full great two tone breeches.

Accessorise your look with complimentary forest tones. The Königs Melbourne field boot fits beautifully with the Rag & Bone boyfriend belt and a pair of SSG leather gloves.

Finish off your look with a classic Charles Owen GR8 riding helmet, a matching forest style Brixton Dallas wool hat and a pair of Linda Farrow shades.
