Spring fling

Yes! it’s March! Time to start thinking about spring colors, longer days, glorious sunshine and flowers in bloom. Get into that spring time mood with this spring inspired #rootd.

It’s the season for bright colors again, and there is no better than this Ralph Lauren Polo cashmere cable knit pull-over in the brightest of greens. Wear it with a preppie HV Polo shit underneath and layer on a casual Rag & Bone Women’s Avenida Studded Denim Jacket for the early morning spring chill.

Best to wear a bright color palette with a pair of classic navy blue breeches. The Clarissa grip pair by Pikeur are great for this look thanks to their extra pocket detailing and immaculate finish.

Accessories the look with a hint of bright green in the Ray-Ban sunglasses and the Gucci Garden scarf and continue the classic navy theme with your Roeckl grip gloves, a Shop Hunt Club Derby belt and a KEP Italia custom helmet.

Finish off the look with a pair of navy blue customised Roma zip Parlanti boots.

Green ‘n Grey

Sometimes it really is just a green ‘n grey kinda day. Grey for a touch of class and green for a burst of energy.

The Euro Star Grip Tech Alice breeches are probably the best example of the ultimate classy pair. Wear them with a subtle striped top by Barbour and top it off with a Colmar Originals light weight bright green down jacket.

The One K defender helmet in grey is a perfect fit for the look as well as a pair of Roeckl gloves, a bright green Qdos phone case, a pair of Spy Hayes bare crystal happy green grey  sunglasses and a super stylish and on point green bandana.

The final touches for the look are a basic black belt by Jil Sander and a pair of Tucci Allegri field boots (got to love the grey detail!)

Very Verona

Hunter green

Wether going for a ride, or heading out to meet the ladies for a coffee, this hunter green look works for any occasion.

I started compiling this look around one of my favourite pieces: the hunter green Lauria Garrelli Paris long sleeve polo shirt. And, I was also looking for the right occasion to add in this magnificent biker style Tempo jacket from Ronner design. So, the two finally came together and are paired with Imperial Riding Hit full seat breeches.

Enhance your look with some stylish rider accessories like the classic black Samshield helmet and aptly named ‘hunter’ gloves. The Alberto Fasciani classic black dressage boots are of course intended for riding, but would work perfectly when taking this look to town for that coffee.

Add on some designer touches with a Scarabeus belt, a pair of Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses, a Hermes grooming tote which I would have no issue with using as my daily handbag and top it off with a vintage logo Luis Vuitton scarf.

Autumn vibes

Ahhh Autumn, not always known as the friendliest of seasons, but those chilly mornings, beautiful days, changing colors and gorgeous sunsets really are great. This #rootd makes that transition from Summer to Autumn just that little bit easier with some soft Autumn shades of beige, brown and green.

The military style jacket from D Squared is a great lightweight season transition jacket to wear over a Free People plaid joplin button down shirt. Wear it with a pair of Tuffrider fullest breeches and make sure your SSG Gloves match the look. I love this Green Ovation Protege helmet, it’s sporty, functional and a perfect match for this look.

A few classy accessories are key making this a sophisticated ensemble: gorgeous lace-up custom De Niro brown boots, a Hermes belt and a pair of Ray-Ban aviators. Last but not least the statement accessory for this look: the BB saddle bag from Makebe (available in many more color combo’s – so cute!!!)
