I added on an extra layer with a metallic silver Rohnish lightweight down vest and was thrilled to find the extremely cool gold, solver and bronze striped Joletta sweater by Diane von Furstenburg to complete the heavy metal look.

Nothing like a bit of glitter and gold to kick of the new year in style. A classy party #rootd in which you can easily go join the ladies for a midday glass of bubbles after your new years day ride.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of Pikeur black Lucinda full seat grip breeches and these work perfectly combined with a black and gold ombre cable knit sweater from JD Williams and a stunning metallic vest from Zulily.

Keep the black and gold theme going with some super accessories: a metallic V by Very beanie, Horo 24k gold scarf, a Lanvin LOVE purse, a signature Gucci double G buckle belt and a pair of Ray Ban black and gold sunglasses.

Who wouldn’t want a kiss from these magnificent gold lips? I absolutely adore this Markus Lupfer ‘Gold Lips’ sweater and thought it deserved a #rootd.

Layer your ‘Gold Lips’ under an Imperial Riding navy Nevermind soft-shell jacket and the gold HV Polo Alcona light weight down jacket. The Mountain Horse Amy breeches are a perfect addition to this look too.

Continue the color scheme with the navy Samshield helmet, a pair of blue Roeckl grip gloves and a Rag & Bone boyfriend belt.
