Special Edition: The stylish equestrian for Shayne Dante

Shayne Dante

Meet Shayne Dante: Grand Prix dressage rider, powerful positive person and sporty fashionista

SD 1Shayne Dante was born on March 15, 1991  in San Francisco, CA and began competing ponies by the tender age of four. From the beginning, she knew horses were a passion she wanted to pursue as a career. Coming from a non-horsey family, Shayne spent her early days working around various farms in exchange for lessons. Luckily, at a young age, she came across two mentors: MaryAnne Adams, a talented eventer from Maryland, and Brent Graef, a horseman from Texas. Both mentors, with completely different backgrounds, devoted their time, energy, and knowledge into creating a young professional with one common goal: the love of the horse. With ceaseless drive, determination, and discipline, Shayne took her eclectic background across the country in pursuit of her high performance goals. Without a horse, car, or money to her name, Shayne followed a dream; she surrounded herself with the best in the sport and was competing in the FEI ring within one season.

SD 2Brian Holloway has been a key pillar in Shayne’s life for over 20 years. As a professional athlete, father, and mentor, Brian inspires those around him to follow their creative success and live life to the fullest. The Holloway family lost their beloved son, brother, cousin, teammate, and friend, Max Holloway #56 Boston College. In honor of the Holloways, we #LiveLifeToTheMax and we #RideToTheMax.

Outside of striving to be an exceptional international competitor, Shayne endeavors to inspire those around her, specifically young women, to take the reins, push their limits, and ignite their inner strength. Power shines through one’s soul into their horse.

Shayne’s style in the ring is always perfectly put together, and when training, she likes to go for a bit more of a relaxed and sporty look. She absolutely loves combining her favorite equestrian brands like Horze and B Vertigo, with sports labels like Nike and Adidas in all varieties and shades of black and grey.
We put together a sporty fabulous look that is completely in line with Shayne’s favorites, here’s all you need to know:
The perfect place to start with Shayne’s look was the black Horze active full seat summer leggings, which goes great with a PrAna waterfall tank top and one of Shayne’s all time favorites: the Adidas crop hoodie. For a hint of fashion, we added the R13 denim silver metallic bomber jacket and a pair of Nike Lunarepic low flyknit sneakers.
For the rider accessories, we went with another line-up of Shayne’s top pics: the KEP Italia black Cromo M helmet, a pair of Roeckl summer sun tan gloves and black De Niro custom made dressage boots.
Have a stylish ride!
